  • My mission is to enhance your critical thinking and technology usage skills through relevant and challenging hands-on experiences to prepare you for life after high school.
  •    I started teaching at Owen D. Young in May of 2009.  I grew up outside of St. Johnsville and graduated from Dolgeville in 2004. I have had many jobs over the years, from being a farm hand to working for a general contractor, and I bring these experiences to the classroom.  I graduated from SUNY Oswego in the spring of 2009 with a degree in Technology Education.
The newest addition to my family is Emerson David.  Evelyn Joyce has become a loving and helpful big sister.  I love spending time with them.  This summer I worked for a general contractor, out of St. Johnsville, the same one that I've worked with since I was 16.
A major family accomplishment this past year was becoming debt free (except our house, for now).  We did exactly what I teach in Career and Financial Management, which is following Dave Ramsey's plan of creating and sticking to a budget and paying off our debts with the debt snowball.  I am now living proof that this stuff works!  I would be more than willing to help anyone reading this achieve the same financial freedom that my wife and I have now.
Another interest that I am looking into is obtaining my Nuisance Wildlife Permit.  Some of my hobbies and interest are: bow hunting, gun collecting, gunsmithing, fishing, residential construction projects, spending time with family, and basically any outdoor activity.  I am a country boy and I’m very excited for another year here in Van Hornesville.
