  • tenure At their regular meeting on Monday, June 11, the ODY Board of Education approved and celebrated the recommendation for Tenure for Alicia Soper, Guidance Counselor , Jessica Beam, Elementary Teacher and Eva Allegretti, special education teacher all effective for the 2019/20 school year.

  • ODY ODY is participating in a pilot School Climate Survey.  Parents/Guardians are asked to follow the link below and fill out the quick survey.  Other slightly modified surveys will also be given to students, teachers, and staff.
     
    The survey will ask questions in the areas of engagement (cultural and linguistic competence, relationships, school participation); Safety (emotional safety, physical safety, bullying/cyberbullying, substance abuse), and Environment (physical environment, instructional environment, mental health, discipline). 
     
    Objective:
    The objective is to provide districts and schools with a tool to easily evaluate school climate. The use of these surveys will establish baseline data to assess the school/district environmental climate. This survey will be the first step in meeting the new DASA requirements.
