Please give a warm welcome to Heather Edwards, ODY’s new kindergarten teacher!
Ms. Edwards is originally from Edmeston and is a graduate of Edmeston Central School. She received her bachelor’s degree in early childhood and childhood education from SUNY Potsdam, and her master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Concordia University. She currently lives in Richfield Springs with her eight year old son, Aiden. For the last four years, Ms. Edwards was a UPK/Head Start teacher for Mohawk Valley Community Action Agency in Utica. She started her teaching career in 2015, as a substitute teacher for the New Hartford Central School District. In her spare time, she enjoys reading and traveling.
