It is with great pride that we announce the valedictorian and salutatorian for ODY’s Class of 2025!
Owen Davis, the son of Andrew and Candise Davis, has been named valedictorian of the ODY’s Class of 2025. This fall, Owen plans to attend SUNY Polytechnic Institute where he will study Computer Engineering Technology.
Owen has been involved with several clubs and extracurricular activities during his time at ODY. He is an avid golfer demonstrating his skills as a member of the ODY-Richfield Springs Varsity Golf Team. He was also active with the school’s Robotics club and served as Class Treasurer/Secretary. He is the recipient of a Clark Scholarship.
Golfing and gaming are two of Owen’s favorite pastimes outside of school.
“I will miss the small class sizes at ODY,” was Owen’s reply when asked what he would miss most about his soon-to-be alma mater.
Owen, whose favorite class at ODY was chemistry, shared this advice for underclassmen. “It is okay to say ‘no’ to things so you don't get overwhelmed.”
Camryn Marshall, the daughter of Michael & Quendryth Marshall, has been named salutatorian for the 2025 graduating class at Owen D. Young Central School. This fall, she plans to attend Niagara University to study Supply Chain Management.
While at ODY, Camryn was active in many extracurricular activities including the following athletics teams: volleyball, track and soccer. She is a member of National Honor Society, served as Class President, and was involved in the Advanced Career Immersion Experience Internship. She received a Clark Scholarship this year.
Outside of the classroom, Camryn can be found immersed in reading (mysteries are a favorite)!
Camryn’s favorite class taken at ODY was Sculpture & Ceramics, and her best ODY memory is a recent one: “Winning the girls Soccer Tri-Valley Championship in 2024!” she said.
Camryn would advise underclassmen to “surround yourself with people who want to see you succeed!”
