ODY student shakes hands with Herkimer BOCES Career and Tech principal while crossing the stage to accept certificate

Seven ODY classmates were among the nearly 250 students who were recognized for successfully completing their Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs at Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES.

Family, friends, school leaders and BOCES administrators gathered on June 16 to celebrate the achievements of the students during an awards ceremony held in the gymnasium at Herkimer College.

Herkimer BOCES Principal of Technical Education Sheri Perry, Herkimer BOCES Director of Technical Programs Zane Mahar, and Herkimer BOCES Board of Education President Holly Pullis, who serves as vice president of the ODY school board, presented the completion certificates, as well as other awards and scholarships, to the students.

We congratulate the following ODY seniors — the next generation of builders, designers, mechanics, technicians, and welders — who approached their CTE programs with curiosity and enthusiasm, and now possess the skills and credentials that have prepared them for the workforce, trade school or college.
