Four students help display an artifact from the Oneida Indian Nation

ODY fourth and fifth graders had the honor of welcoming Randy Phillips, a guest speaker from the Oneida Indian Nation, for a morning of storytelling and discovery as he brought the rich history of the Five Nations to life — offering our students a true "hands-on" learning experience.

From captivating oral traditions to fascinating visual artifacts, our students were fully immersed in the culture and legacy of the Haudenosaunee. It was a powerful reminder of the vibrant indigenous heritage that continues to shape our world today.

A huge thank you to Mr. Phillips for sharing your knowledge, your stories, and your time with us!
