ODY's Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter was in the spotlight recently as part of the Herkimer BOCES Region Showcase presented by the Oneida-Madison-Herkimer Counties School Boards Institute (SBI).
FFA advisor Mckensey Periard was joined by a student FFA member for the exhibit, which highlighted how participation in the school's program benefits students and positively impacts their learning experiences.
The Herkimer BOCES Region Showcase took place at the William E. Busacker Complex in Herkimer. Other presenters at the showcase included: Frankfort-Schuyler Central School District, Herkimer Central School District, Little Falls City School District, Mount Markham Central School District and Richfield Springs Central School District.
In addition to SBI members, participating students and their families, as well as local school district personnel were invited to attend the event on March 26.
