Fourth and fifth grade English Language Arts classes recently concluded their hard work and dedication to state test preparation with a fun Disney/Universal-themed learning party!

Inspired by the magic of Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort, fourth- and fifth-grade students kicked off their day with an airplane simulation, complete with boarding passes and a “flight” to their destination.

Throughout the day, students watched Pixar short films while practicing key ELA skills, including analyzing theme, cause and effect, and character traits. The celebration also featured themed snacks like Toy Story–inspired Goldfish and popcorn.
