PARP (Pick A Reading Partner) month kicked off at ODY with a virtual visit from Josh Funk, a software engineer and the author of book series including Lady Pancake & Sir French Toast and It's Not a Fairy Tale, and amusing stories like How to Code a Sandcastle, The Dino Door, Dear Dragon, My Pet Feet, Lost in the Library and more.
Mr. Funk opened the visit by sharing with students in kindergarten through grade 5 his journey to writing books. He then read some of his stories and answered student questions.
His books have sold more than half a million copies worldwide and have been translated into a dozen languages.
